Webcam

You need to install Pinux Supplement Pack 1 for webcam support.

Cek Webcam Type

- Login as root

- Plug your webcam into usb port

- Open terminal Menu - System Tools - Terminal

   $ /sbin/lsusb

   look at your webcam Vendor ID and Product ID

   Here the list of Pinux Supported Webcam

Test Your Webcam:

Pinux Supplement Pack 1 must be installed before testing your webcam.

- Plug your webcam into usb port

- Click Menu - System tools - Terminal

 # mplayer tv:// -tv driver=v4l:width=352:height=288:outfmt=rgb16:device=/dev/video0:noaudio -flip

  You can see your webcam broadcast on mplayer window.

- Close mplayer window.

Gyach Webcam

- Start - Internet - YMesenger (Gyach)

- Connect your ym account.

- Click Action - Show My Webcam is On in Chat Room
 

- Click Action - Start My Webcam
 

- Click Connection - Camera Properties

  Change Contrass, Brigness and color then click Apply.

- To start broadcast your webcam to internet, click: Connection - Connect
